What is a Biosome™?

Exosomes are nanoparticles released by cells to carry proteins, growth factors and other bioactive components — the signals that direct healing and regeneration in the skin.

Biosomes™ are engineered to mimic them: lipid nanoparticles built from the same lipids found in an exosome membrane, encapsulating a defined set of human growth factors including TGF-β3, HGF, KGF and NGF. They are not human-derived, but they carry human proteins your cells recognise.

Because they are manufactured rather than harvested, Biosomes™ are shelf stable and active in a homecare system — a first of their kind for exosome skincare.

Key active ingredients

Bakuchiol
A plant-derived, retinoid-like molecule that activates retinoic acid receptor activity without the irritation of retinoids; stimulates collagen and elastin.
Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate
A lipid-soluble, highly stable form of vitamin C. Supports collagen production, scavenges free radicals and reduces unwanted pigmentation.
Skin Mimetic Lipids
Ceramides, fatty acids and botanical oils that deeply condition and nourish the skin’s protective lipid barrier.
Ubiquinone (CoQ10)
Responsible for generating cellular energy within the mitochondria. A powerful, lipid-soluble antioxidant.

How to use

AM/PM. After applying AnteAGE MD® Biosome™ Serum, massage 1–2 pumps of AnteAGE MD® Biosome™ Accelerator into face and neck, or combine the two on your fingertips and apply together.

Use pre-treatment to prep the skin for optimal recovery, and post-procedure following laser, microneedling, abrasive and other ablative or collagen-inducing treatments.
